Las etiquetas prometen potentes beneficios antioxidantes y lucha contra la inflamaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p>Pero hay algo que esos frascos no te dicen: a tu cuerpo le cuesta absorber realmente este compuesto cuando lo tomas en forma de p\u00edldora. Nuevas investigaciones demuestran que lo que ocurre en un laboratorio no siempre ocurre en tu cuerpo. <\/p>\n<h2>Lo que demuestra la investigaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p>Los cient\u00edficos revisaron recientemente docenas de ensayos cl\u00ednicos que probaban suplementos de quercetina. Quer\u00edan saber si este flavonoide realmente cumple sus grandes promesas para la salud cardiaca y el metabolismo. <\/p>\n<p>Los estudios administraron a las personas entre ciento cincuenta y mil miligramos diarios de quercetina. Los ensayos duraron varios meses. Eso significa que tu sistema digestivo no puede descomponerla f\u00e1cilmente y enviarla al torrente sangu\u00edneo. La cantidad que ingieres tiene poco que ver con la que realmente utiliza tu cuerpo.  <\/p>\n<p>Piensa que es como intentar absorber agua a trav\u00e9s de un impermeable. La naturaleza ya ha resuelto el problema de la absorci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<h3>Consigue quercetina en Whole Foods<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando comes alimentos naturalmente ricos en quercetina, \u00e9sta viene acompa\u00f1ada de fibra y otros compuestos vegetales. \u00c9stos trabajan juntos para ayudar a tu cuerpo a absorber y utilizar la quercetina con mucha m\u00e1s eficacia que una p\u00edldora aislada. <\/p>\n<p>Las mejores fuentes de alimentos son sorprendentemente comunes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Manzanas con piel<\/strong>: la piel contiene la mayor parte de la quercetina<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cebollas rojas<\/strong>: una de las fuentes m\u00e1s ricas que puedes encontrar<\/li>\n<li><strong>T\u00e9 verde<\/strong> &#8211; proporciona quercetina junto con otros compuestos beneficiosos<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bayas<\/strong> &#8211; especialmente ar\u00e1ndanos y ar\u00e1ndanos rojos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A\u00f1ade estos alimentos a tu rutina diaria en lugar de recurrir a un frasco de suplementos.
